Health check

How good is your Claude Code setup?

Upload your CLAUDE.md, your .claude folder or a zip of both. You get a score out of 100, the top 5 problems and corrected files.

Up to 1 MB. Only setup files are sent: CLAUDE.md, settings, skills, agents, commands and hooks. Everything else in a folder stays on your computer, and secret-looking values are replaced before anything is stored.

Where to find your files

Your setup lives in your project folder: the folder you were in when you typed claude. Look there for two things:

  • CLAUDE.md, next to files like package.json, pyproject.toml or .git.
  • The .claude folder, in the same place. It holds settings.json and theskills, agents and commands folders. Its name starts with a dot, so most systems hide it until you ask to see hidden files.

Not sure which folder is your project? In the terminal where you run Claude Code, type pwd on macOS or Linux, or Get-Location in Windows PowerShell.

Do not pick the .claude folder in your home folder (~/.claude). It also holds your Claude Code login and chat history. If you want your personal rules checked, upload only ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md.

macOS
  1. In Finder, open your project folder. Press Cmd + Shift + . to show hidden files such as .claude. The same keys work in the file picker this page opens.
  2. To reach your personal CLAUDE.md, choose Go, then Go to Folder in Finder, and type ~/.claude.
  3. Or make one zip in Terminal and upload it as "a zip with both":
    cd ~/path/to/your-project
    zip -r claude-setup.zip CLAUDE.md .claude
Windows
  1. In File Explorer, open your project folder. On Windows 11 choose View, then Show, then Hidden items. On Windows 10 tick Hidden items on the View tab.
  2. To reach your personal CLAUDE.md, type %USERPROFILE%\.claude in the File Explorer address bar.
  3. Or make one zip in PowerShell and upload it as "a zip with both":
    cd C:\path\to\your-project
    Compress-Archive -Path CLAUDE.md, .claude -DestinationPath claude-setup.zip
  4. Project inside WSL? Type \\wsl$ in the File Explorer address bar, then open your Linux home folder and the project.
Linux
  1. In your file manager or the file picker this page opens, press Ctrl + H to show hidden files such as .claude.
  2. Your personal CLAUDE.md is at ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md.
  3. Or make one zip in the terminal and upload it as "a zip with both":
    cd ~/path/to/your-project
    zip -r claude-setup.zip CLAUDE.md .claude

No CLAUDE.md yet? Run /init in Claude Code to create one, or generate a full setup.
