About our monitor
Claude Code Lab runs a small crawler that identifies itself asClaudeLabMonitor/1.0 (+https://claude.levelpartner.ai/bot). It checks a fixed list of official Claude and Anthropic sources for changes, so our guides stay accurate.
What it reads
- code.claude.com/docs and its changelog
- GitHub releases and commits of anthropics/claude-code, anthropics/skills, anthropics/claude-cookbooks and anthropics/claude-plugins-official
- anthropic.com news, engineering and research (via sitemap)
- claude.com blog, platform.claude.com docs and cookbook, support.claude.com, academy.claude.com (via sitemap or feed)
- The Claude YouTube channel, through the official YouTube Data API only
How it behaves
- It reads robots.txt first and skips anything disallowed.
- It prefers feeds, sitemaps and APIs, and sends conditional requests so unchanged pages cost nothing.
- At most one request per second per host, and at most 40 pages per source per run, every 6 hours.
- It never scrapes YouTube pages and never republishes source text. Guides are our own writing with links.
